It is possible to customize your BT Hub. However, in case you wish to make any changes to your BT Hub settings, you will have to access your BT Hub Manager. The Hub Manager is protected by a password for your security. This password is placed on the Hub you bought but depending on the version of the Hub you bought, it will be placed in different positions on the Hub.
If you cannot access the Hub Manager because at some point of time you made changes to the admin password, you will need to follow a different procedure in order to reset the BT Hub password.
The Different Versions.
To see the BT Hub password when you have the BT Smart Hub and BT Smart Hub 2, you will have to locate the Hub settings card that will be located at the back of the BT Hub.
At the same time, if you have BT Home Hub 4 and Hub 5, then you will find the admin password either on the settings card of the hub at the back like in the above mentioned previous two versions, or on the base, where there will be a label containing the password. In case you have the BT home Hub 3, the admin password will again probably be at the base of the Hub, on the label. If not, check the settings card at the back.
